The True-Stretch AKA Known as The Cage
If you’ve ever visited us at Everything’s Connected, you would know we like to do things a bit differently, with the majority of our treatment performed upright, catering to the principles of being functional and using ground force reactions- our friend gravity. To do this we use the assistance of the true- stretch, otherwise known as ‘The Cage’ to our patients.
The true- stretch was created by Gary Gray and was designed to improve flexibility by keeping the body in a natural and upright posture to enable a truly functional way of stretching. At Everything’s Connected, the support that the true- stretch provides allows us to manually work on patient’s range of motion and flexibility whilst keeping the body in an active state, making it easier for the body to transfer improvements in treatment to daily function.
