What better way to spend a Sunday than with Greg Jacobs from Stable Base.  Watching the UFC has become a bit of a ritual for the two of us and today we saw the heavy weights battle it out while we chased down some beers. The UFC is the fastest growing sport in the world and it is impossible not to marvel at the skill, dedication and fearlessness these athletes display. To make weight cut the athletes require disciplined nutritional habits, their bodies must be well rested for the brutality ahead and their training must be on point so that when they enter the octagon they are in prime physical condition. At EC we believe everyone is an athlete and to recover from injury or chronic pain -rest, exercise and nutrition form the cornerstones. While we won’t be throwing our patients into the octagon we do want our patients primed and safe from what their day may deliverer.
