I had the pleasure and pain of undergoing a lengthy workout with the talented Heath Williams of Principle 4 osteopathy on Friday afternoon. Heath in his wisdom took me through many a squat, lunge, dead combination promptly highlighting my biomechanical limitations and strength inadequacies. It may have taken me 2 days before I was able to sit and stand out of the chair again but what great fun we had and what a way to learn about training variability.
Having another therapist put you through your paces is always a great experience both from a therapeutic and learning perspective. Here at Everything’s Connected we are obsessed with the principle of Variability and it was fantastic to get Heaths take on how he alters load position both asymmetrically, unilaterally to create desired chain reactions.
