Every Tuesday, the team at Everything’s Connected catch up for our weekly meeting. We know the importance of getting your steps in and moving…that’s what our bodies were designed for! So instead of meeting around the table we take our meetings on a 40-minute walk, braced with notepads and all.
Walking is one of the best things you can do for your body. There is currently no pill on the market, which helps fight and cure the list of conditions walking can help with. Some of these include diabetes, cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, cancer, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, mental health conditions, weight loss…the list goes on. Current research shows that 7, 000 steps will help fight against depression, however, it’s the golden 10, 000 steps we need for overall optimal health. So next time you have to take a business call, why not take your phone around the block and walk & talk. A bonus is you’ll also top up your Vit D getting out and enjoying the sun.
