EC Environment

One of the things you will notice when you visit EC is the small history taking rooms. One of our favourite principles and thing we love to tweak with our patients is the environment. How we move through space, perform tasks and generally function is in part dictated to by the environment we find ourselves in.

So why the small history taking rooms? Well, there’s a couple of reasons. They provide only enough space for conversation to occur making the environment perfect for a chat but unsuitable for any exercise or manual therapy. The small space allows for privacy during history taking but creates an understanding that treatment will occur elsewhere. And since we love movement and believe this is what stimulates healing it’s into the gym another tweaked environment to help you help yourself get better.
