Empowering a patient to take control of their own health is the goal for us at EC.
One of our clinic principles is “We not Me.” I had the pleasure of being present in the gym with my patient this morning while Shaani was simultaneously working with one of her clients. As our patients are aware, the gym space is a communal environment where most treatments at EC take place.
What was lovely this morning was to hear how proud and excited Shaani’s patient was with his progress. His voice boomed “I haven’t been able to move this well for 30 years! I’ve been doing all my exercises daily, I can really feel the difference”. It’s awesome and truly rewarding when patients can achieve results they are seeking, and even better when we provide the tools to empower them to take control of their own health.
